They sent the car, a suit, a copy of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy along a towel in the glove box, an ARC disc with Asimovs Foundation cycle and a plate with the names of all (or at least more than 6000) SpaceX employees.

I'd rather them send a copy of the DSM-V and a dictionary, but whatever

Any intelligent lifeform will have gone through this part of evolution, I think, and would look upon it as a part of the discovered history.Ysh wrote:Yes, first thing I want alien to understand about human is how mentally deficient he is.
Well, long enough in space outside the Van Allen belts without shielding and it will turn into radioactive trash.Havion wrote:anyway if they sent anything up they probably sent radioactive trash.

Re: Falcon heavy made it.
Those are the boosters landing for those unaware. Which is super cool because they can be used again and again for any falcon rocket I think not just heavy.
The whole point of the launch was to test the Falcon Heavy properly for the first time and because it had a relatively low chance of success it couldnt mount a satellite or any sort of important payload so instead Elon Musk used his personal tesla as the payload just for the fuck of it which also has a mannequin wearing the new fancy SpaceX space suit. You can watch the live stream from starman perspective here: https://youtu.be/aBr2kKAHN6M
