Almost all Bay12 people joined at around same time as Blaze, so it's only a matter of who's been online more.

Those people also need some serious butt slapping then. Because that will cause an infinite revenge scheme.Ferinex wrote:Rae, stop being desperate for forgiveness now that you realize a majority of people see you as being in the wrong and want you dead. Re: Rift, kaka
maybe in all this vengence and killing we could find away to stop this happening again.....
I quite like the fact that this murder was a product of the game world being so viscious and that everyone has been equally brutal in their demands for vengency, it suits the anarchy of the world
BUT
maybe we can mature as a game-soceity and create some sort of rule of law? some social consensus on weilding this ranger power
OR
We can keeping running around like savages murdering every "criminal" in sight, and then getting all worked up about the unjust deaths the occationally occurs because of it.

Re: Rift, kaka
I'm just curious as to why you people are trying to decide whether I should be punished or not, Ferinex, Malicus - Seems a little bloodthirsty. Your attitudes right there are ten times worse than mine could ever be. Now who would be piling up corpses in a graveyard?
Thank you for your OPINIONS as to what should happen to me. But this is KAKA's decision now.
I got this strong in less than one week, Kill tubai and I'll disappear off the radar, and this time itll be for months. You can have a good friend in me who promotes strong community, or you can piss me off, and none of you can play as often or as long as I can. Because I'm not the only one who plays this character.
TAG TEAM *highfives*
It's only in the last week that my character went from doing 10 damage a punch to 50. from 40 skill to 120.
Before that I was focused on road construction, keeping shadyacres stable while it was being systematically turned into a ghost town. I was just screwing around.

I agree. We should construct a type of prison, and system of arresting people. I've suggested handcuffs before. If they work the same was as force summoning in terms of keeping the player logged in, There would be a lot less death that's for sure.provo wrote:maybe in all this vengence and killing we could find away to stop this happening again.....

I know I wouldn't be killing. Knock out, bind, drag to a prison. If they logout then they can stay there until a long conversation is had, maybe a community could have real courts to decide on the sentencing.
an Impartial jury. Impartial, not like Ferinex and Malicus, those two are butthurt Kinda trollish too - very bloodthirsty really noobish.

I think you missed my point, this isn't going to happen with simple game additions (hand cuffs ect). It requires a change in the social order of the game, and thus perseptions of the social world in H&H..... which takes alot more then some game additions.Raephire wrote:I agree. ONe of the main reasons for this quick execution is the crime levels. People are currently working hard to kill criminals and everyone is cheering it on. but now an innocent has died, people are upset. but no one is against the high number of on the spot execution, because it keeps crime down.
But as a first step:
Its up to the stake holders of power in the game to determin how power and justice is used. Major towns, strong players, rangers. must decide and set standards of justice. If they even want too, they may think that the situation is fine, it keeps criminals in there place..... it up to them

Re: Rift, kaka
He really isn't innocent, neither is KAKA, rift is an ally of theirs, free to use their plot, still, after the outcry. Kaka outright refuses to disassociate at the very least.provo wrote:I think you missed my point, this isn't going to happen with simple game additions (hand cuffs ect). So Karblar wasn't an innocent, and he certainly wasn't a noob, Noobs dont dodge that much, noobs dont have over 200 heatth, and noobs dont have 40+ strength..
Also, nobody was there, the guy was really being a smart mouth and was suggesting in his responses that rift did live there. Whether he was being mysterious or not.
The man I killed wasn't an innocent and I would have left him be were it not for what he was saying.
As for making the community stronger so these deaths will not occur, Hey, whatever people decide in on a general consensus of civilized behavior I'll follow.

According to Laketown a person has to meet some requirements before we decide to kill in the name of justice.
1) Have many scents of the same person.
2) Have a clue about who this person is.
3) Took something of value with he intention to harm us.
4) (optional) Degrades the name of your town.
Usually this means we are killing JTG. Not the legitimate thief.
