It means make a big offer, they might respond with a more, equal offer. If you don't like their counter offer, then you don't need to trade. Your the seller, they are the buyer...

i'm not talking about burgingham asking for cavebulbs, i'm talking about people asking for a q30-50 swords/armor... which the people in sodom probably couldn't make because their tools are (assumably) much higher q than that. so why ask for a low q sword? just ask for a sword.

yeah but the problem is they cant make stuff that low, even if theyd do that it still costs them the same amount of material and effort so doubtfull theyd even do it for less pay.

actually a 30-50Q item is, more or less (Disclaimer: no tech disclosures here, generalization is being made and is subject change or blatant inaccuracy without notification) what can be made from 'casual' or Q10 wood mats.

If a player is willing to accept stuff from Q10 fuel mats than it would probably be cheaper but unless it becomes a highly demanded trend (and that won't happen without an avg server pop of 1k+ and an active player base of 5k+, more or less depending on what the competition can achieve and is willing to offer) then it would be processed to-order rather than in-stock.

As juhu has been away for a while HQ stuff is going to be worth a fuckton more than the shit the rest of us can process as 30-50 isn't difficult to buy with a day or so's worth of casual work LP invested into smithing can achieve by the rest of us.

Just saying sab, it is sound market procedure to buy mid-q stuff high end players make without effort. Once again the quoite of 30-50 only follows the mention of this thread and in no way reflects min/max capabilities of sodom. I am personally not involved to one iota and honestly don't even know the Q of many of the stuff involved in the process because I haven't been playing. I'm only coming to this discussion with market experience given i only just recently started playing again and haven't even found a configuration for my farm i like yet. Well, I found it and wil be writing a tutorial on Q sorting with seedbagts for wheat farming but haven't managed to actualize it in a way I'm happy with and can record yet =P

chak if there's anyone who's opinion i value on trade values, it's you. but even with q10 blocks (and the charcoal they make) i can make swords over q50 because we have hq kiln, hq smelter, hq anvil, hq hammer

the real point though, is that if you want to buy a sword (or armor, or whatever), there's really no need to be specific about the quality of it unless you want the absolute highest quality available.

Amazing! I find Q19 water and I believe is extremely high. Cant believe q90 exist. I walk a lot the area I live and the best soil is q17.
Maybe my char born in a poor area.

~Q40 water and soil are common.
Also you need to prospect some tiles around to find maximum.
