Re: The Wiki Thread
There's been a lot that I've filled in, in the Wiki. Yet, there's so much that even I don't know. I don't know exact details about everything which makes it hard. Plus I know the devs probably won't want to spend their time filling it in.
So, more people helping with the wiki would be great.

Re: The Wiki Thread
Filling in content is relatively easy. Find a page lacking in content (these two lists help), click 'edit', and fill in what you know. If you don't know anything but want the content filled in, put {{stub}} on the page (for general content), or put a request on the relevant Talk page (for specific content).
Templates are easy to apply, but harder to write (though copying other wikis' templates is possible). These are what give the pages a uniform appearance, and fancier stuff can be hidden inside of them. Variables can be used with templates to help automate some of the uniformity (this is what H&H wiki does to simplify the process of making images show up). Parser functions help further automate the formatting of content and enable it to do some simple math and logic checks. Semantic MediaWiki lets the wiki behave more like a relational database.
If you're interested in learning some of the more advanced stuff, I'd recommend following the order I outlined above. Wikia Help, Wikipedia, MediaWiki, and Meta-Wiki also have a lot of relevant content.

Re: The Wiki Thread
If you fuckup erik will fix it i learned
I didn't exactly fuck up, but didn't know how to add certain things when i first started, erik fixed all of it.
And i'd like to let people know how easy it is to fill pages with images.
Check what pages need images and check their name. Then printscreen the game and isolate the individual parts you need. Upload them with the correct name and voila, you just expanded the wiki. The image should automaticly appear on the right pages. Uploading an image as 100x100 pixels delivers a pixel perfect image. Such as the gauze for example.

The ones who see things differently.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Re: The Wiki Thread
Mind you, the link Sami posted was bogus -- it ended in a citation mark. The real page was already filled in. :)Jfloyd wrote:K, I did gauze, and then someone finished it for me ;D

Stop messing with the object infobox.
Now it's not displaying the size correctly :V

Re: The Wiki Thread
Could you be more specific about what isn't working right? Looking at your edits, the size you're probably referring to is a new value for which most objects don't yet have their data, thus you're seeing the default of zero. If you're referring to the size of the infobox itself, I did decrease the width some to reduce whitespace, but I haven't noticed any boxes becoming distorted by this. If you're referring to the image, none of those should've changed. In any case, the major changes to the infoboxes are done so I won't be messing with them anymore, aside from fixing bugs.
