Yesterday I murdered a rock, beat up a stone. Hospitalized a brick, I'm so mean I make medicine sick.

Half the things we do in this game go around game mechanics. What's your point?

Erm .. skipping page 2..11

How about putting a (freely) HnH tax on whatever game items you sell for real money, to be donated to the game/dev's. 8-)
25% sound about right. :)

... Market competition probably going to make sure that's not going to work ... :|

letting the community discourage the whole RMT transactions altogether be much easier for both devs and players imo.
when you officially allow one, people will go for the next one. and then the next and the next. there is no end to it.

why i draw a line on bug-uses with reported or not reported is because we all know there are some minor bugs that devs dont bother fixing and allow players continue using them, and reported or not is clear enough to avoid grey zones.
(that is why im not blaming bell and qant for cs bug-use this time on that thread, although the reason of not getting it fixed would be hopefully different from devs not bothering, and i do hope we can find a solution to that very soon. btw, the very same reason why i did not blame pande for bug-using the last time while blaming russians for server-crashing bug which was not reported. but probably thats just me.)
My whole point is it doesn't need to be policed if it's happening it uses the same exact rules as any trade thread, what happens is your business, you got scammed? That's between you and the trader! ~As always~
The devs have to do NOTHING if no distinction is made. The problem in policing comes when you make a distinction and someone has to search for these players on the forums, close their posts, etc.
The only policing that has had to come so far the on the other side is people shitting up their threads.

The community is not some entity that anyone controls, each of us will think what we think, and personally I've always hated the idea of imposing your moral bullshit on something like this that can swing either way on everyone is ridiculous, no matter what if you do it it'll pop up somewhere else, IRC, new IRC channel devoted to it, fansite forum dedicated to it, dropping notes then PMing people. There is always a way, and it will usually be explored. Meaning that your policing of these threads does absofuckinglutely nothing but hinder ever so slightly these people from finding others to buy from.

As for CS bug use and others, charterstones should have been fixed a long time ago and yeah they are using it 'within the rules' since it was already reported (several times).

Loftar should start selling wiz/wolf capes or some other cosmetic stuff (preferably wearable alongside normal gear, not instead). That could bring some cash to pay for server without any harm at all :)

Ugh, this thread is about real money trading. Let's not open the huge fucking can of worms of cash shop supported MMOs into this. They're completely different things.

everyone imposes ones own moral when talking about morals. maybe "impose" is not the best word to apply though.
i see you also do so when you talk about certain russian players' immorality on raids and you cannot deny that.
just because cheaters always find a way to work around does not allow the best solutions to come by for any issues.
i believe in community power of trying to keep certain morals up, especially when the community is small enough.

and the can is even dusted by a mod to look clean and shiny for everyone, thus this thread here.
(im pretty sure these are clearly on topic.)
