would a world wipe fix the lag? you know deleting all the abandoned shit, and dead villages...
Somedays you just have to accept that you are the pigeon.... and some days you are the statue!.. :3

If you care to read about the lag and the reasons it is generated a little, in this same forums, you would see that you are not asking anything new and that it has been answered before sveral times.kennacudnik wrote:would a world wipe fix the lag? you know deleting all the abandoned shit, and dead villages...
You not only will get banned if you keep on saying this same thing in more threads, but also will get other players to have fun out of your posts and in rude/ironic ways.

Re: Maintenance downtime: Harddrive replacement (sigh)
It would not and without a bit of core modification to claim mechanics the world will be in the exact same state again in no time at all. Until there's active development, a world reset would just be a bandaid. The lag itself is caused by an I/O inefficiency in the code that is proving difficult to track down.kennacudnik wrote:would a world wipe fix the lag? you know deleting all the abandoned shit, and dead villages...

Then why there were no lags in the past? I don't understand this. In worlds 4 and 5 everything was ok. also online was much bigger.TeckXKnight wrote:The lag itself is caused by an I/O inefficiency in the code that is proving difficult to track down.

Probably because the problem is in parts of the code that were not like they are now or simply did not exist back then.
