That's correct, from what I understand despite your account creation date, you actually have to make a post on the forum before it registers the join date below your avatar.

Ok then. I'll just leave it and continue using my current account. It was fun to discover that I was actually playing for a while in 2010 though.

I think you only have to visit the forums while logged in.
