your java is definitely 32bit, and ender's 32bit should work with that
if you want 64bit ender's and 64bit java, then first you have to remove your 32bit java.
next go to the java website (java.com should work) click the big red "free java download" button and then click on:

though the color is grey instead of red xD

it says windows 7, but it works with any windows 64bit:

Windows 7, XP Offline (64-bit)

install that, and then put Ender's 64bit in a game folder you like
(dont forget to download the updated haven.jar)
you also might want the updater
and you should be ready to play
(unless you need to modify the run.bat, see this post)

oh and would the mods like to merge this into the ender's mod discussion thread?

my laptop has been wiped clean, because of some dysfunction with the hard drive. so i have to pretty much download everything again. so i started with java, and then downloaded the enders client.

however, the client downloaded fine. i can log in, i can access my charachters. but when i click on my charachters, i get the screen which asks where i want to start playing, when i click on 'at hearth fire' or 'where i logged out', nothing happens. it wont allow the game to start. it's the same thing with the client attached to this website, the smaller java version. it only goes to the chrachter sheet but the game wont start.

what is it i'm missing, that i need for the game to work.

seriously, all i have is some windows essentials like msn, java, and adobe right now installed on my laptop. i think i also have flash player. but thats pretty much it:S

any help would be awesome.

though to be honest, i have no idea what half that enders thread is abt...

i only recently started using enders because a guy i was playing with pretty much gave me a step by step guide to how to download it. that was pre my laptop getting busted

umm not really i don't think because they never really helped me much and ok i got 32bit client but everytime i run bat it says windows can not find javaw and i have no idea what to do or how to type correctly in the bat file if you could help me with that i would like that thanks

My path to javaw.exe is D:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\

My path to Ender's Client is E:\Gaming\HnH_Ender_x64\

Someone do me a favor and put the pieces together, because every time I try it spits out "cannot find -Xms256m" like it is trying to run variables as executables.

i have asked the same thing nobody seems to wanna help or do exactly as i ask
