Gluttons will be gluttons, yes. Point of my post was to say that you can be a glutton to a point and still lose weight if you can change your diet so you don't feel like your starving yourself. Problem is when you get addicted to that sugar and fat diet, vegetables suck.

Also, you're misreading what I wrote. I said counting calories does not matter when you change your diet properly. Maybe I didn't write that as plainly as I had thought. If so, apologies.

Nutrition is a different topic. Clearly this man did not gain weight. This is because he did not eat more calories. You argue against your own self with this one.

I was trying to support your point in a sense and yet prove you wrong by providing an example of a professor I had met that did a short informal study. Sure, you can maintain and even lose weight be strictly counting calories. Few people have the willpower to go hungry all day for weeks on end, let alone years that losing weight this way requires.

Yes, it is much easier to not eat garbage. Then you can rely on your body to say when you are full and actual act of counting is not needed. People eat food with low nutrition and high calorie, so they feel hungry all the time. I conflate you to say ''calorie counting is not needed'' to meaning ''count of calories is not matters.'' Maybe I go on edge from Burinn trolls, apologies.

Fact is remaining that every person will be fat by choice. They will value eating the foods more than they will value their own health. This is not good decision for the man to make.
