I split out the suggestion some people had in this thread:
http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/vie ... 48&t=70048
I think it'd more evenly distribute forage and gives devs some balancing control over the quantity of stuff being spit out.

Global pools still exist and they're still shit guys.

No comment from devs!

Pearls I never see, glimmers which would normally completely be gone at this point are still reliable enough to get a couple.Nightdawg wrote:Global pools still exist and they're still shit guys.
Something's changed, it's a lot better.

Thats bullshit. I collected around 3 glimmers at least each time I visited one large cavern, today I had a quest and visited it 3 times, 0 glimmers, 1 KO due to being careless enough to walk too close to caverats. Not worth it doing it without bots.Sevenless wrote:Pearls I never see, glimmers which would normally completely be gone at this point are still reliable enough to get a couple.Nightdawg wrote:Global pools still exist and they're still shit guys.

One thing I'm not seeing anyone talk about is Candleberries. Aren't they global pool as well? Their rarity compared to earlier this world definitely suggests the same thing is going on there. I have an 810 PER*EXP swamp alt now which I've checked my local swamp with several times now (and everything else respawned so it's not that) but I'm getting zero candleberries. Back before Swamp Fever I hadn't found any Candleberries in a while on my main either.

I haven't been specifically looking for them lately, but now that you say it I have noticed that I'm not really even seeing them. When I was looking for them I could just walk past by some random swamp and pick plenty of them.VDZ wrote:One thing I'm not seeing anyone talk about is Candleberries. Aren't they global pool as well? Glimmers are certainly more frequent in their refreshment of their pool. Alternatively people are just looking for them less this world.

Maybe they are more local and I'm just in bad region? Wish devs would tell something .
