He's somewhat early: April 4, 2009 was the beginning of world 1.
No idea how long the development took before that though, so he might be onto something...

Aurora's market expansion almost complete. Soon there will be a lot of new shops and they won't be restricted to people from the realm anymore

Well, to be honest, I've always built/worked on my single character/main character. Yes, including all the digging

I didn't dig alone, though - my brother and his fiancee have helped a lot, some other people have helped a few times too.

But yeah, no alts were ever killed for the construction of Aurora :3

I can't confirm, but probably - yes. The only 2 Dark Hearts I've ever seen were both from Trolls, so it makes sense.
Besides, if Dark Hearts come from "inherently evil" beings, it makes sense that trolls would give them more often as they seem to be depicted as evil beings
