By the way, it could be nice if you could find the ruins of an old civilization (hint: previous world) here and there. Mossy runestones, barely readable, may hint at the story of those peoples (well, get the runestones placed there in the old world and cover some of the words with a dot, meaning you can't read them). Some of the items may still be usable, maybe, if they aren't too rusted.

sorry, i just had a brainstorm about the kinds of things one might possibly encounter in the Endworld/Mordor/Outer Hearthlands/Wastelands/whatever.
that WOULD turn it into eve online with all those ideas. anyone else not fancy being turned into a crisp byu a dragon due to server lags? good ideas, but hell man, SCARY if they all popped up at once

[Mordor] also had a three times faster decay rate IIRC.
Really? If yes, how's it determined? Non-village zones? Or generally all X wildlife zones? Outlying grids?still does

an interesting idea, I like this but it would be a little extra work for the devs. still though, it could be a new terrain type: ruined village. it would have mouldering runestones, collapsed buildings, and overgrown streets. you could still build on it, but it would be full of the restless dead.Jeff wrote:By the way, it could be nice if you could find the ruins of an old civilization (hint: previous world) here and there.
