Pah, I already commented on that. It looks ridiculous, those tiny supports holding up such a massive range. I reckon they should make a 2x2 support for that range, and keep the old range with the current 1x1 supports.
Edit;
Ye gods, this is worse than I expected. I've been mining for about 20 minutes, and I've only earned 7000. This is outrageous!
Another step into the direction of the grindfest pitfall... =[

Well I love this game, but at some point they are gonna have to leave it alone.. All this nerfing, really? The lp should be your reward for having and finding/making all the materials needed for the damn mine hole. I think its silly, and yeah I know same bitch session form the animal thread.. Less animals, should give more lp.. Oh well...
Mining lp was out of control there needed to be some kind of nerf. That said I think this is a bit overboard, Mining was pathetic lp last world and something we made alts for, now I'm just wishing we were back there again so I didn't need to tie my main character to our damn mine in return for a pittance.

Cave entrances are also incredibly hard to find and require lots of materials to use, like a mouse. Don't get me started on having to click a mouse button to enter it either.

lol you can't be serious. You're complaining about getting 20k LP an hour?

Amen, nerfs are always stupid. ANytime a game becomes just a total grind it's heading dsouth, as if the fucking lag, crash lag crash lag crash of late isn't irritating enough. Nerf mining, nerf buckets...just means more deforestation. I guess they just dont want anyone doing anything but standing still. Let' see. Stats are useless...hardcaps on farming to soil q means getting your farming up is "no point". No resources of any consequence above 40 in entire supergrids. Clueless to me why they've decided to rape the game in such horrible manners. It's the first world where I've really found myself bored and feeling "no point" in the things I do. Was never that way before, in 2 years playing. Oh well, whatever, just finally had to rant.

I dunno about all this, but the only reason I did mining was to burn off the food I ate so I can eat again, the LP gain from it was just a welcome bonus compared to punching my palisade or plowing a field over and over, so for me there's no real change in mining..... and yes with a soft mining spot and a decent pickaxe the mining LP was totally ridiculous.... tho I somewhat pity those that don't have a pickaxe yet as their results are now kind of disapointing
