Can we get a little backstory? You killed a char, because she afked? Is that a general Melsonia policy to just kill anyone your villagers please, or is there more to it?

Well, from what I gathered. One of the new recruits was scared because there was a boating stranger outside the recruitment area's walls waiting, apparently with a bow. The boater ended up drowning in the end as he wouldn't leave. A day or two later another boater showed up at the gates. I headed out for him as the boater called our recruits fags and the like. Showed up and he began to flee so I followed. Him calling me a faggot the whole way. It then changed from me wanting to talk, to me killing this person for insulting me. Chased him back to his little palisade where he continued to sling insults from behind the walls (the gate was close to the water and he slipped inside). After taking a few potshots he ended up dead and I paid the leader with a pickaxe and some other mining tools. We do not encourage our recruits to kill on sight and as a general practice we avoid it unless it's a security issue. The end.

Also when I went back to where I died with a friend the faggot who killed me was there in a boat and fled from us, got out quickly and fled inland, so I stole his boat. He claims it had crates full of boar meat in it, but much me my disappointment he is in fact a serial liar. And a faggot.

Please don't assume too much. We've recently heard rumors of ill-intent towards our humble village, so even though it may have been a bit of an over-reaction, the culprit who committed the crime isn't actually a member of Melsonia proper, just yet. This particular person has been reprimanded. Besides.. words were exchanged and from what I understand, they weren't kind to one-another. It just blew out of proportion.. However, I'm doing my best to quell the hostilities. Please do not blow the balloon up, any larger, if you wouldn't mind.
