make sure "activate Java Content in Browser is checked (leave at disabled in browser settings itself)

right click to open enlarged in tab

click Play Button - choose "Open with Java Web Start Launcher" from dropdown menue

you need to check at the bottom here too

For windows 10 its a bit different opening Java Control Panel. Use the search box at the bottom and look up java. Select "Configure Java" and the control panel will open, add the haven and hearth address via the edit site list button.
