Re: The Democratic National Convention
I'm not going to, it has nothing to do with capacity. I don't think you have any background in economics short of what you've read off of internet forums. Convincing someone who sounds like an anarchocapitalist that the minimum wage is a good thing isn't something I'm interested in doing anymore than I already have.Jesus_Smith_Nandez wrote:Ok so you cannot explain why I'm wrong is what you're saying?
Regardless of any of that, we're not going to convince one another. I think you already know that.

What exactly do you mean with 'making history'?Burinn wrote:This convention tho!
Making history here. Sorta really upset about Bernie though...
Thoughts?
What's new about Hillary?
Or her political agenda?
The European view of her is rather... bored. Which is quite the contrast.

Hillary Clinton is the first woman ever nominated by either of the two popular parties for the presidential primary.Grog wrote:What exactly do you mean with 'making history'?Burinn wrote:This convention tho!

It's a big deal for a country that's been run predominately by white males for its entire history.Grog wrote:I see. That's just not that much in my book.Burinn wrote: Hillary Clinton is the first woman ever nominated by either of the two popular parties for the presidential primary.

I do not disagree, I just value it differently.Burinn wrote:It's a big deal for a country that's been run predominately by white males for its entire history.Grog wrote:I see. She is an old white woman from a rich family that has been involved in politics and the economy for years.
In a country predominantly run by white men from rich families that have been involved in politics and the economy for years.
And I do expect her to do as much for feminism or the general debate about genders as Merkel did. - Nothing.
