I hate resets.

Also I like to start late world at least 4 or 5 months in. There are always nice ruins to settle into and raid for basic seeds and supplies, plus you can trade in a few days worth of fate curios for a full set of mid to high q tools.

20% decrease in player count.

More likely many are set and play the waiting game (for dry hides, leather, coal, crops) now.
