How about making client interface customizable by html/css/js ?
Would become easy for players to edit and share UIs.
Probably not possible or too much work, tho.

Great idea, I always wanted to run a crypto miner in an in-game browser...iamahh wrote:How about making client interface customizable by html/css/js ?

Who the hell would want to play with bloated js/css/html client anyway.
Nothing prevents one from adding crypto miner to the current custom clients. So why would js client be any different?Granger wrote: Great idea, I always wanted to run a crypto miner in an in-game browser...
I think if one wants to make money by inserting malware to the custom clients, there would be many much more lucrative things than mining bitcoins.

You can, in theory, even steal passwords via custom resources.
Give a man a game engine and he delivers a game. Teach a man how to make a game engine and he never delivers anything.

Re: Minimally altered custom client recommendation?
CSS alone would do the trick, but indeed sounds impossible and too much work for UI customization
