[MASSIVE AND IMPORTANT] Friend hacked, village raided

[Gromit]

As someone not involved in the situation, I would be interested in knowing if the evidence supports the story.

I am starting to wonder, too. I tried to find out the offending IP address, but all the logins for the last week (which is how long I'm saving logs) have been coming from one and the same ISP.

maybe he was using a proxy?

[loftar]

Quite possibly so; a trojan, in particular, might very well contain a proxy of its own, I guess. In that case, there isn't much I can do about it, though. Well, it's not like IP addresses are sensitive information or anything, so I'll PM the OP a list of addresses logged in from.

[MageMoa]

Same ISP, different IPs... It could be a proxy but who knows.

Anyway, thanks for the help loftar. I really appreciate it.

@ciroth: Or maybe he is just some 15 year old boy playing the game for fun?

[Alecela]

That's uncalled for... for the lulz lets steal his bank account

^ I say for the lulz because of what he said, not because I'm him... I'm insecure... Don't look at me!

This is why I change the passwords for most things every few days, and dont accept mails from people i dont know, or click links i don't recognize after a bit.
