yes world 6 should be up and runing in about 3 hrs.

I guessing he was just trying to shut them up for 3 hours, maybe he should've said 1 week, that way we might've got some respite.

the fact that the server crashed isn't uncommon,, in general the longer the server goes without a restart, the more likely there will be a crash..

the 'shutdown' is a good pointer that the dev's are working on it, and the last shutdown lasted about 6 hours, this seems more work, but doesn't mean more damage done as far as players are concerned. it is very doubtful that anyone will lose anything (just trolls making you panic), or notice any differences

as for how long.. it is whatever time it takes them to sort out (with donut breaks) just have to be patient and check every few hours

as for world 6 , unlikely (although i am looking forward to it), the only reason world 6 would appear at this time would be if the map has been nuked, and i don't think that's happened (altho i have no evidence except that they are 'working on it' to fix rather than just delete and load world 6)

so in short, be patient, everything is fine, just data needs sorting a bit.
