And yet you still add nothing relevant. smhGranger wrote:Aha.loleznub wrote:I was simply too lazy
Yes, you could definitvely do that. It's a bit excessive, but it's your choice.it might be a good idea to exclusively read the threads from now on, instead of posting. It will reduce the "noise" that job has to waste time reading through.
Or at least keep such suggestions to yourself, from now on.

Re: Crossroads
How often do you go far from your base?Granger wrote:Crossroads were a bad mechanic as they allowed uninterruptible teleportation all over the map, effectively folding the dimensions of the world down to near zero for basically free. It's good that they're gone, it's sad that porticos and charter stones still allow the same (though at least at a higher initial cost and limited to within one shore of deep ocean).
I agree though that maintaining pavement on roads is unfun and de-vine'ing (and stomping natural biome to dirt) should be an automatic side effect of following/traveling roads - in the sense of characters stomping living nature into oblivion when passing over it repeatedly, which could well be a general mechanic.

I will ask again, Why isnt charter stone or portico travel free, if you can get to the point of making them? I can see a will requirement for cross ocean travel to maintain the integrity of oceans and continents, however wouldnt free travel between charter stones encourage factions to maybe share crystals and develope strong local trade networks that also encourage smaller markets around villages that had a charter stone?

Or make the usage of charter stones give You 100% TW on use and requires at least minimum of 90% to work. Works over oceans. If there is no ocean tile, it just gives 90% TW. High enough will would reduce. Requires at least lawspeaking to work if WILL attribute isn't high enough.DoctorCookie wrote:I will ask again, Why isnt charter stone or portico travel free, if you can get to the point of making them? Granger took away my RIGHT to edit MY OWN THREADwonder-ass wrote:#MAKE THIS TOPIC GREAT AGAIN WITH ALL CAPS!!!
It is clear that Granger prefers the single player version of this game thus ALL fast travel ideas are bad for him.
