Players were invited to alpha based on their support of HnH. Players were invited to beta based on how well they could fuel a viral marketing pyramid scheme. Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

imo beta testing is never worth it. Just wait for the release, it'll work better, it'll have all the features and you won't be burnt out.
There'll always be enough people with low self control/genuine testers to make sure the game is tested properly.

its a different style but haven is way more cartoony than salem. I think some of you have forgotten how cutsie haven actually looks after years of playing.
