For example I can selected blueberry pies as a price but not ring of brodgar or perched perch. It's not a discovery issue either because I've made some inferior versions of the food to be sure I had discovered it. The things I can set as prices seem to be pretty arbitrary. I can set brambles and poppies as a price, but not mantles or ladybugs.
The long and the short is that some items just can't be set as payment. The stands are pretty bugged up in that regard.
If you're thinking of leaving one for public use, I would like to advise you that people frequently steal from them. Leave only a few items at a time there.
The stands are on our village claim within the walls. The idea was to give each craftsman an idea of what was in demand. I thought it would be preferable to being badgered for specific items the instant they logged in.
It's unfortunate the stands aren't working properly. Thanks for your reply regardless.
If I put my house next to a cliff, could it be scaled or breached somehow? Cause I want to save space with room, and I think I wanna put it right next to one, but is this safe?

Ya, it's safe. There are bugs and exploits that have been used in the past to jump cliffs that might still be around though.

Either you're on a type of terrain that needs to be plowed (and preferably paved) before building, or the hitbox of the cliff is conflicting with the hitbox of where you're trying to place the house.

If you make a Palisade Cornerpost next to a cliff..you can use an exploit to get through it...I found out the hard way. Haha
Scooby Doo taught us that the real monsters are humans.
You guys are helpful! Thanks! One more thing though XD What are these points everyone talks about in the apples for oranges forum. What kind of currency is it? like LP?

You can find that answer yourself, there is a thread at the top of the AfO sub-forum that discusses that, but, to answer your question now, it's a type of currency. No, it's not like LP.

Since there is no currency in the game, people use "points" when exchanging goods.
Lets say a barrel of milk is worth 50 points to the trader.
The trader values Edelweiss curiositys at 10 points.

Depends on grid alignment. Cliffs don't line up on the grid with palisades so you need to remove the palisade from the grid when placing it. Hold shift when placing an object to do this.
Honestly though? It's cheaper to build around a cliff than it is to try to include the cliff into your wall.
