In the past few decades the influence of the USA has become ever more toxic and now they have been exporting what is a net negative effect.
I can't help but welcome our new Russian overlords. Anything has to be better than murican cultural influence.
Not sure they would want this spot though. It's really, really hot here and their military equipment probably wouldn't work at these temperatures. It NEVER snows here.

Have no fear, our future compatriot! Ahh yes, the AK is legendary. I wouldn't be surprised if one could still work on the surface of mars. But you would need more than the AK because I think we have cars and trucks and things. Please can we negotiate though? The population here is already low enough.
