Peonaz I really want to ban you for having the absolute most idiotic perspective on botters and scripters that I have read in my time on this forum, instead I've just removed the random racial slur you threw in there.

This is exactly what that Billy Madison clip is for.

You can literally close your gates then turn on autohearth and then even the most sophisticated of combat bots can't touch you.

I agree with Peonaz, with one caveat, the game mechanics should of course be adapted so that it requires as much human decision-making to play it as possible, so that the level of complexity for the AI would have to verge on an Artificial General Intelligence. If someone manages to create an AGI to play H&H, that person deserves to rule over the plebs. Unleash the LP-maximizer.

PvP is not so simple that it's easily automated.

Before we see PvP bots, we will see bots able to fight bats and collect endless glimmermoss. This would have to include some sort of pathing (even if rudimentary), the ability to kill bats, avoid pulling bat clusters, and perform this task without taking many wounds.

All those same things would need to be implemented for a PVP bot, mastered, and ultimately improved on to effectively fight humans which are far less predictable.

Will we see glimmer forage bots? Maybe eventually.
Will we see effective combat bots? I doubt we ever will.

Even if we accept this vacuum world where there is nothing going on at all except a single target for your three bots to attack, nothing to clip them, nothing they have to react to, they will clip themselves. Attacking a target and letting the game path will cause them to get in their own way, and clip themselves.

Backpedal, kill them all, collect gear. You might as well be fighting bats with worse AI if they just follow you and try to attack.
