How do I build a good combat deck?

why do so many combat decks use knock its teeth out over quick barrage? it seems like the fact that QB is free, fast, and can generate IP vs KiTO costing 1 IP being slower and only providing like 7% more effective opening/CD i dont really get what im missing

Both PvP and combat cheesing involve combat where you do 1-2 moves and then break contact. QB is a stand and fight move. The only time you'll ever stand and fight is against animals you can kill with little-no armor damage. By then it doesn't really matter what move you're using.

Also a lot of pvpers are UA heavy because it has more flexible openers and maneuvers. This influences what suggestions people get and combat metas in general for hunting.
