Is there any way to turn carrots into seeds?

Plant carrot, wait till it produces the seed stage, harvest.

I feel like a dumbass, had no idea that you can plant carrots directly and didn't even care to try.MagicManICT wrote:Plant carrot, wait till it produces the seed stage, harvest.

it's not obvious since you get seeds from the WWW. Also works for onions* (if they exist this world) and beetroots*.

Is this fixable or do I have to bash the wall and terraform all over again?
The palisade isn't extending anymore.

Thanks in advance.

From my experiences that shouldn't be possible. If you could place that last paly, you should be able to place the next one. Have you tried placing a single extended piece? Or a cornerpost?venatorvenator wrote:Is this fixable or do I have to bash the wall and terraform all over again?

There was a "can't extend anymore" bug going around, not sure if that got patched.

We dont know how high or low it is compared to the other pali, so it very well could be above the limit of +/- they offer

Yes, of course, and neither worked.Sevenless wrote:From my experiences that shouldn't be possible. If you could place that last paly, you should be able to place the next one. Have you tried placing a single extended piece? Or a cornerpost?

What I'm guessing is that both sides of the tile need to be even for the next segment to be possible. I'll try to reproduce it with fences at some point to confirm.

Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
Doesn't matter, that other palisade extended onto that tile and we can see green on both sides. However high it is, the post originally extended to it. And by guesstimating it, I'd say 2 dirt high. 3 at the most (I've spent about 10 hours terraforming now, you can kinda wing it). If you can't place stuff on awkward terrain like that (and my pali posts placed fine) then the bug is actually that the original palisade extended that far.Paradoxs wrote:We dont know how high or low it is compared to the other pali, so it very well could be above the limit of +/- they offer
I'm still more inclined to believe it's that extension bug I've heard about before.
Last dumb question: There's no water within 3 tiles right?
