This is not some "joy of discovery" stuff. This is a huge opportunity to bring in tons of new players who otherwise would not be interested in Haven.
lol, lmao even

???
Permadeath full-loot PvP is a huge red flag for MMO players and that seems to be a thing of the past with their opt-in PvP system coming in 16.2.
It would be nice to get more details on that.

The devs do not explain things, nor do they attempt to advertise changes to the game. They rarely make positive changes in the first place.

First step: Murderous rage being the only thing that can get you killed in a purely PVP battle (no animals, water, etc)

I'm telling you that's all they need. I've helped lots of newbies and tried to get more people into the game, and that's the big caveat I can't just lie to them about.

Most people have played games like Albion or OSRS where PVP has full-drop but very few people play a PVP-locked hardcore ironman in OSRS. Absurdly, OSRS also has better PVP even though it also revolves around running (to level 30 or 20 to teleport out while being frozen) and you can be killed instantly by luck in 1 tick.

Y'all bully jorb too much. You have to speak his language if you want results - watch and learn:

Dear jorb,

A question that pertains to many-a Hearthling that play this great game ^_^ is, namely, what are the methods by which the aforementioned "Ragehide" mechanic will be implemented, such that, in-so doing, 'sploiters and those among us prone to griefing may be barred from such behavior, in keeping with the spirit of this new law imposed upon the Hearthlands?

Sincerely, a shitass hermit
