Yeah! I have java7 installed, Both 64 bit AND 32 bit

Hmm i just ran a test with a fresh downloaded updater.jar and it worked flawless for me (Java 7u65)

i wonder if you are trying with the source (?!?)

prolly you have WinRar installed and set it to open jar files ? Change at "Options" -> "Settings" -> "Integration" - uncheck jar
