Speaking of salem, Loftar you need to make it so you can put your teleporting spot inside a house, because right now there is no way I know of to prevent being summonedArcanist wrote:Hmm I was just getting into salem. Oh well, back to HnH
Loftar any chance that you could get them to use SAS drives? I guess it would depend on if the server can support them. I haven't heard great things about "Enterprise" SATA drives. I might ask what duty cycle the drives you are getting are rated for. I wonder if some of your problem is your taxing the IO so much that the drive heads are flying off the arms. lolloftar wrote:A very good question. I asked them the last time and they insisted it was just bad luck. I'm not sure where to take it from there, really. I'm not really cut out for conflicting with people; if only there were a good Internet connection anywhere local to me, I'd much rather manage the server personally.sabinati wrote:what the fuck is the deal with hard drives over there?

When was this update posted?loftar wrote:Update 2: The hard drive has been replaced, and the RAID resync is running. Expect it to take the usual 12 hours or so before I can turn on the game server again.
