Re: Fun with screenshots!
yeah i know ('67?), was just talking about the link on page 4MagicManICT wrote:Who's this "Tiffany" chick?
That was a song by Tommy James and the Shondells circa 1969.
20 yrs after the original, tiffany covered it and made a big hit, and this thread was 20 yrs after her hit.
it was either this or Billy Idol "Mony Mony"(coincidence or not) being played everywhere you went around that time.
tiffany was a super popular teen idol back then, but her fate didnt go too well afterwards. (hope she's doing alright.)
anyways, to btaylor, ive already dumped my pic 3 times now >.< maybe later...im trying >.> not trolling
everytime i came back to this thread, someone else has already posted the line

You're not missing much. Think Brittney Spears without the 'bad girl' image.Zampfeo wrote:I've heard the original plenty of times. Never have I heard the Tiffany version.
Dammit. Forgot to post the next line again.
That's ok. This thread doesn't get you, either.fart69 wrote:I don't get this thread.

(I THINK I'm at the right spot)

Too bad there were no female characters to stand next to when I said that, that would've made it better.

That version is just terrible, but looking for covers I found the click five version to be decent.Tonkyhonk wrote:yeah i know ('67?), was just talking about the link on page 4MagicManICT wrote:Who's this "Tiffany" chick?

I didn't care much for the weezer version, though it's live, so that probably had something to do with it.

Wonderful contributions everyone.
Made me smile to see how many people joined in. After the [instrumental break] it just repeats the verse over and over, so I think this song is officially done, woo!
