Nice catch from Borka. As I completely forgot about Ender client, again.
Added a separate Ended client "SET_E.html" to this post.

Re: Reskinning and Image Modding
I'm having trouble figuring out how to work with this. Where can I find this "explorer util" ?theTrav wrote: 4 - Execute the exporter util. Some OSes will let you just double click it, others will need you to run java -jar exportHavenRes_allplatforms.jar
Hope you have a great day

Re: Reskinning and Image Modding
Use Boshaw's Layer util. It's the best one.
to unpack
to pack
Code: Select all
java -jar LayerUtil.jar -rd inDir outDirCode: Select all
java -jar LayerUtil.jar -re inDir outDir-

Re: Reskinning and Image Modding
How exactly does it work? I downloaded the zip file and unpacked it. Now what? what do I run or do to get into the .res files from HnH? Or in other words, how do I edit .res files? D:
Hope you have a great day

Re: Reskinning and Image Modding
1. save commands from my previous post in directory with the LayerUtil as decode.bat and encode.bat or whatever
2. edit names of inDir, outDir if you want them called differently
4. copy to inDir res files you want to decode
5. run decode.bat
6. check outDir

This is what my folder looks like after unpacking (boshaw layerutil):

Re: Reskinning and Image Modding
Well, You downloaded new salem version. Dunno how to use it yet.
Use this one: http://www48.zippyshare.com/v/47261474/file.html (link updated: fixed encode.bat)
1. copy res files you want edit.to decode_in/
2. run decode.bat
3. edit whatever you like in decode_out/
4. run encode.bat
5. copy edited res files from encoded/ to your res/ or custom_res/ dir in client.
