Sounds like a lot of work but gardenpotgrown plants should indeed have maybe different slightly worse versions.

We can have the best of both worlds if we separate the items that are found in the wild from those planted domestically like Wild and Domestic Honeys.

If Wild Blueberries and Domestic Blueberries gave different FEPs for example, then what's the problem? The gardeners will still have their mass produced berries and the foragers will be unaffected, because they're different items.
