Those are both fucking amazing. Makes me wish I still played the game and that everything had your style.

I never was aware of the huge gap between cabin and mansion when it comes to size. Those two pictures made it quite clear to me.Daji wrote:well.. it took me less time than I imagined
The mansion looks really amazing now. Something about the cabin is bothering me though. It looks like the front side and the roof could use a little more shadowing or definition? Looks a little too "simple" to me so to speak.

Seriously i think they are ok now. The mansion is perfect (just the straw color isn't my favourite). Those two windows give the right idea that is a 2level mansion, and Yes, the 2th level is an attico. You can't help this, the mansion shape IS a mansion with an attico. You should totally change the shape and you'll have lots of trouble to put it correctly in the client. (For example, your kiln is bigger than the jorb's one, i walk on it for 1 tile more.)
The cabin, is lovely. Jorb cabin was nice too, so isn't so different, but adding those details is what i needed to see. (The front side have a weird structure over the door. What's?)
I want it now lol. XDD
Anyway feel the free to fix whatever you don't like. I'll se what you can do better than now. :3
Give me a surprise. XD

Re: Daji's Graphic mod - News houses :D
i've checked some old house to understand how 2level house are..and are almost like an attico but with a little difference. The roof don't hit the floor. There an example more helpful than my words.

In this way you don't need to change the main shape of the mansion or the size, but you'll have a 2level.
The red line is the shape of the mansion how it is now. If you change a little the roof inclination, you should obtain a nice 2th level like the game show.
Tell me if you mind to solve the Attico problem. Imo, it don't care so much :3

Yeah, that's should do the trick, thanks for the help
I will do it later too, because the bigcabin log is much more easy to build than a Stone Inn : sadly I don't see any stonehouse yet, so if people send me pics I can fix it if there is problems (with the door position I guess)

uhm i dont understand what exactly you need for the mansion, so i've collected various pictures for various hints.
This is good for the stone wall, pretty nice.

Isn't a mansion but i think the door is really usefull.

We may also want a simple door, instead of an arc door in a rude game like h&h.

But..afterall, the best door will always been a medieval heavy wooden door from an inn.

....good luck. XD
