Initially, then it will fade out in time to a somewhat stable population. What I mean is that it will be reset as it will be more players playing

Re: World 6
In world 4, people were running bots that allows them to churn out those said 1k Ua characters like a manufacturing facilities.

Like now is different? Only things you need now is curios farm and time and you can level up multiple characters at same time without even being logged in. Before you were limited with account number and how many clients you could run on your computer. Same shit with different package.Patchouli_Knowledge wrote:In world 4, people were running bots that allows them to churn out those said 1k Ua characters like a manufacturing facilities.

Re: World 6
The difference is they did it in just a couple of weeks. It takes a few months now. Less than a month in, there were 20M+ LP characters already. Jorb made a post about it at some point in the world 4 thread if anyone wants to look it up.Nummy wrote:Like now is different? Back to world player pops: I thought peak had hit well over 1500 at one point shortly after w5 started.

the difference is - in world 4 everybody has same speed of growing lp, now speed depends of quality of curiosities.
then more progress of a village, the faster lp gain is.

Re: World 6
I'm not sure why having infrastructure, trade, and a dedicated community is seen as an unfair advantage. This gets cited a lot and it just seems kind of silly to say that progressing into the game and developing all of these advancements should yield a negligible reward compared to just being a nomadic newbie forever.tempwad wrote:the difference is - in world 4 everybody has same speed of growing lp, now speed depends of quality of curiosities.

Re: World 6
Also it's a completely incorrect assumption since the amount of LP gained was directly proportional to the quality of the item you crafted. So people with higher materials have always had the advantage.

but it is not always infrastructure, trade, etc. sometimes it is just a luck at beggining of the world.
you've got a sport of high-q edelveises or clay, and all the game you'll have a lp boost.

Yeah, quality spots are a shitty game mechanic and they should axe them come next world.

Re: World 6
If someone has better quality resources than you, war them and take them. It provides and incentive for conflict and I'd bet that even now, almost a year into World 6 not all of the best qual spots have been found. In other words, I disagree totally with what you said.Potjeh wrote:Yeah, quality spots are a shitty game mechanic and they should axe them come next world.
