this client is misbehaving today.
very long lags in logging in process, to start with. then it looks like only half of the game is working, messed up graphics.

If you have problems with the UI scaling using Windows or you know anyone with this problem keep reading, if not just ignore the next text:

Since around half a year ago I had problems with the UI scaling using Windows 10. To being able to play I had to reduce the scale to 100% in Windows because I usually use the scalating at 125%. If I didn't do that the result was an uncentered UI where my clicks didn't even correspond to the elements I interacted with. Something like this (https://imgur.com/lZ2r1Uc). So if I want to play at 125% I have to modify this (https://imgur.com/BGf9Ivz). The graphic quality is a little bit worse, but its playable without having to rescale the Windows setting (https://imgur.com/oaPXO54). Also the quality improve if you activate the antialiasing. I post this just in case anyone had the same problem as me using Ard (Cediner's version) and not sure if other clients have the same issue.

Works like a charm, thank you so much. By the way my run file looks like this, pretty much a mess, but it works:

java -Dsun.java2d.uiScale.enabled=false -Xmx4024m -jar launcher.jar update https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Cedin ... le/update/ -Djava.util.logging.config.file=logging.properties
java -Dsun.java2d.uiScale.enabled=false -Xss2024k -Xms2024M -Xmx4024M -jar build/hafen.jar -U https://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/ game.havenandhearth.com

Thanks for the tips, I can actually play on my 4K screen now :D

... Or at least i would if i could scale up the ingame UI, it's downright tiny and unreadable :(

ok to fix scaling I basically found my java.exe and went to compatibility

then override high does scaling performed by application

then you can remove the -Dsun.java2d.uiScale.enabled=false

it should scale inside its own window and not be off centre.

it worked for me this makes it pretty playable.
