I guess it wouldn't be bad if certain styles had some requirements (but still enough no-requirements styles to have decent variety), for example max beard length = sqrt(con)

It's a bit tongue in cheek, yeah, but it would seriously be cool to have stuff like that so you can brag about certain aspects of your character if you choose so (to scare away attackers and stuff). Maybe stealth could let you fake it to a certain extent.

if i understand correctly. this idea is not about choosing your hairstyles. although yes. it will give you cool hair. the point of it is to represent some of your personal belief sliders. so you can boast heartily at the inn about the guy you once knew who had hair to his knees
