I don't think it's the likelihood (or at least I haven't confirmed it as such) however higher quality leeches will convert more points of a wound to leech burns.Burinn wrote:Let them get full, then wait until they're back to normal size. Their quality should increase over time. If you keep using the same ones you can get them to the same quality as your constitution. The likelihood they heal it increases with their quality.budzilla wrote:Only thing I have access to atm that helps is leeches, and those rarely seem to actually do anything.MagicManICT wrote:I don't recall any natural heal rate on these. Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
Different parts of the world have different stones in their caves. With all these new stone types porphyry is surely somewhat less common. Keep in mind "rustroot extract" shows what mineral is one level below you, so using it on the surface enough times should give you a good idea of what stone lies in the caves. Keep in mind porphyry may not exist in cave walls anywhere near you, or even on the same continent as you.Draguslayer wrote:No, i need exactly mine porphyry, so i need to take it from wall of cave. Might be worth abandoning the quest if it's really that hard to find in your area

Ancient root and rootfill are instant heals. I'd recommend Nettle Poultice, Honeyed Waybroad, or Gauze for speed since you surely don't have access to much ancient root or strange roots (which btw you get very rarely from digging stumps), but simple waybroad also works, just more slowly.Seraphimos wrote:I got 41 deepcut (also wtf i missed only 1 hit from the bear).
Wich healing item is better to heal it? (faster i mean, since i have to farm swamps)
basically yes. There are independent"quality nodes" for each wild forageable, mineral, and animal in the game. The majority of the world contains quality 10 (lowest wild quality unless capped by your stats) of any given item, but nodes function almost like a topographical map, in that there might be a small area with quality 30 taproots, then around it a slightly larger circle with quality 29, 28, and so on, scaling back to 10bastian22 wrote:Do certain areas in the game have base quality set higher?? Like sometimes I find taproots of quality 25, I go to another place and every single one of them is 10.

Areas? Not even biomes? If there are porphyry on surface as boulder, does it mean that in cave under it will be porphyry in wall?abt79 wrote:Different parts of the world have different stones in their caves. boulders on the surface, boulders on each cave level, and cave walls on each cave level all have a few different stone types that are localized by area.
ie because of where I live I will never see a marble boulder unless level 2-5 of the caves has them or i decide to visit another continent

builds instantly/instantly able to extend sections + make gates HOWEVER there is a 24 hour window for pali soak to increase from 0 to max. essentially someone could handbash your pali for a few hours after the initial cornpost is laidNoogia wrote:Does a palisade still have a drying time of 12 hours to build? or can you build it instantly now?
