There is a % chance that you lose any ranged "ammo" when it is shot/thrown. So yes, it can break.Zepar72 wrote:Should Boar Spear disappear after killing an animal?

What is the highest possible quality of taproot, nettles and cattail? In particular, does q50-60 string exist in nature?

As high as node can allow. It's not limited, but I doubt You could find 80q naturally spawned without people questing around.VDZ wrote:What is the highest possible quality of taproot, nettles and cattail? In particular, does q50-60 string exist in nature?

Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
A buddy of mine in a fairly big village has found 50+ quality string. Afaik if you're lucky enough to find a good node it can be pretty much any ql, right? Obviously if by some amazing RNG's will the world spawns a q500 taproot node jorbtar would remove it, but i definitely think a q100 or so foregable node is possible.VDZ wrote:What is the highest possible quality of taproot, nettles and cattail? Does this applies to fights with animals?jorb wrote:For Melee and Unarmed combat, fighters within a factor 2 of eachother in relevant stats are for all intents and purposes considered to be exact equals.

Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
Highest natural quality I've ever heard of (on the surface, not underground) was a hair over q100 if I recall right. It was at least a few worlds ago before the "+1 to <...>" questing. I'm sure that somewhere there's a q90+ something or other, but we'll likely have to wait for the end of the world and someone to share the info to find out.Aceb wrote:As high as node can allow. String, water, and clay of such quality isn't exactly rare, but not always easy to find, either. Sometimes terraforming an area can expose high quality nodes.

Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
