Damage to structures is the square root of the character's STR, then adding the damage bonus of the tool used: stone axe +1, pick axe +2, sledgehammer +4. Round down. For a palisade, you need 22^2 or 484 STR to damage a palisade with a sledgehammer; 24^2 or 576 with a pick.boreial wrote:No, any palisade that has achieved full soak cannot be hand bashed when on an active claim, village or personal. You need to use a wrecking ball or battering ram, You can Bash an unclaimed pali with sufficient strength (over 400 iirc)Karede wrote:Is it possible to bash your own palisade as if it were off-claim? What strength is required to palibash?

Thanks for the correct info MM, I knew there was a formula somewhere I was just too lazy to go look it up.

Open download folder and run autohaven.jar (java should be associated with .jar files, so only need to double-click.)gagaboss2000 wrote:what run? java installed http://www.havenandhearth.com/portal/paq

I mostly use custom clients but none of them is currently being updated, so running the "default" is not the worst idea.

What does a "drop of blood" icon near to a character mean? Amber client.
Some jerkwad came to our place recently and tried his best to bait us. He threw a lot of bullshit around sprinkled with well-known nicknames so I guess that was someone's combat alt bored out of his mind; and the icon probably indicates "murder" or being red-handed for a Heinous crime or something similar. I would like to have definitive info, though, thanks.
Will provide a neat screenshot, if necessary, just a bit later.

Wild animals leave blood marks when wounded, that help track them when they flee. They show up on minimap as well.Hasta wrote:What does a "drop of blood" icon near to a character mean? Amber client.

Nope, not that kind of mark.vatas wrote:Wild animals leave blood marks when wounded, that help track them when they flee. They show up on minimap as well.Hasta wrote: Will provide a neat screenshot, if necessary, just a bit later.
This one:

it was always on the left side of the character when I rotated the camera, so it's definitely a mark of some kind.

What is the optimal use for domestic animal meats, specifically pork? I've seen it sold for as much as a token per cupboard so I'm curious.

If you look at recipes, pork is an ingredient for many STR based food recipes. And STR is very important to mine at higher levels. I guess it's the why, but I may be wrong, I'm just a noob !Karede wrote:What is the optimal use for domestic animal meats, specifically pork?
