The majority of patches make the game worse.

Bloating game with useless shit features - good. Fun - bad. Simple as.

I don't need larp shit like walkable bridges or knarrs who cares, that won't make the player count go up or make the game experience better

I can tell just watching them move on the dev streams neither Jorb or Loftar could stay upright for more then a few minutes if they're outnumbered in a real fight. I'unno about you, but if making a PVP game were my passion project for 15 years I'd like to think nobody who's played for 3 hours could curbstomp me.

You're saying it ironically as if it wasn't actually a bad thing but it is. PvP is the main tool for conflict resolution in this sandbox so the devs should be at least semi-competent or at least understand the basic concepts of it to be able to make educated decisions.

Looking at league of legends. Patches were prepared by rioters who didn't even get platinum in the game. Not really true tbh

Nobody is saying Jorb has to be a PVP god, however if was tryharding the project he prolly would've tried to involve himself in at least 1 or 2 fights over the course of a few decades.

Imo if Jorbtar join one pvp fight consequences will be series of pvp patches. Not sure if that's good idea ;p
