What the heck?

Postby Jun » Tue Aug 24, 2010 4:53 am

How the heck do you people know all these cities? So many like villages I just lose count of which ones are actually active and teeming with people. In like 5 days of playing. Spent last like 3 travelling South for like 4 hours and never saw a single person online.

How do you even know where the city is? I walk and all I find is trees, some completely clearcutted but there's no one there. Always abandoned houses. Found a few villages in a spot by a river but that's it. Can't even enter. What's with all this interaction?

Or 4 hours of travelling nothing in this game by boat?

There are a few big communities where you can find people, and even those are quiet at times. The most commonly known one is Constantinople.

Constantinople, Sodom, bottleneck. unless I am mistaken, these are the three major cities that all recognize. most small villages and even some of the large ones die from either semi-random attacks by greifers and ass holes (both are the same really), internal strife, lack of interest, the death of a major village figure, (usually the Lawspeaker or the guy everyone likes) the loss of one or more mines, the demoralizing loss of any other number of things, or the vengeful (and sometimes misguided) rain of clusterfuck from a larger village in the area.

edit: oh yeah and welcome to the game, if your in my area, drop by and ill treat you to a mug of my best beer.
