Now I wonder why we have no states, kingdoms and empires in H&H?
I know that some villages are strong enough to overpower others, to demand a weekly or monthly fee of goods they produce in exchange for military protection... I know there were some mines overtake, buildin a wall around and siege inner wall to get access and so on. But why does stronger villages declare to make kingdom or something and take other villages as their vassals?
For example: one stronger village wish to overtake a mine from one smaller village. They can do it in two ways: take it, or let smaller village have it but make them work for them. SO they receive weekly or monthly payment in ore or bars from that village and in exchange they get their military protection. And if they pay some more they can also trade with stronger village for other items.
Second thing I wonder is if were having states, and kingdoms, why we don't have one uniwue currency and prices among some allied villages? THis is basicly more question to the developers: how you think the money and coin system need to be changed to function normaly? I would say like that: coinpress should be same as it is, but with one more option: when you make one, owner sets the name of the money on this press and it cannot be changed anymore. When you make coins with that coinpress all coins get a name: 1 copper coin of That kingdom. And that should be unique currency in same kingdom and even outside could be used. So not everyone will be able to make money and even if they make coins they won't be valuable as one that was created by original coinpress and was released by "teh kingdom". Money would open new options in that game as making economy, exchange currency stations, more trading posts (not everyone will be farmer or miner to get stuff but just exchanging them), easier for nomads (they don't carry with them a lot of stuff to trade, only some money).
Also there would be nice to have an option to rob someone and to burry some of money in the ground for later use. And when you dig, u can find some nice shiny coins and if not on claim would leave no scents.

I say we need some big powers, kingodms, states and they should "rule" the land they own and they should make some money and that money should drive on H&H. I don't say that everything should now be converted into coins, some smaller villages and merchants would still trade with items directly. But money should open some options like I said above.
Sry for a lot of typos, I'm babysitting two cute cats :3 and eating meanwhile getting some stupid ideas around da corner.

So what do u say?
What states sould you like to see?
Would u sign allegiance to any of big powers and be their vassal?
Would be happy to have unique army and "police" in your area?
Go ppl, give feedback!
