Griefing? Alright, I can see how this could be griefing, even though no damage was done, unless the bodies of countless alts is considered damage. Let me tell you the story of these events:
I was just exploring a river in my boat when I found a runestone. Naturally curious, I read it. It contained a hearth secret. I made an alt and teleported to it and looked around until someone came up to me and asked who I was. At the time I was talking on IRC about it, people joking that I would be killed, and someone asked for the HS. I said I'd put it up if i got killed, which I did. So this guy kills me for really no reason other than being there, and I come back with several other people for really no reason other than boredom. People get killed, shit happens, they now have a nice collection of skeletons at their disposal to warn future raiders

I left after my second death, but that's when people started taking things out of control. People were making their own hearth fires and giving away the secrets and more people came to the village (as I gathered from the IRC), and people in the town were freaking out about it. While I truly don't see how a few skill less alts could do any damage, I still regret giving the original HS out and starting the whole thing.
So really, this whole thing is my fault, and I apologize for it and regret it (not that it won't stop my inevitable death if the members of the village find me), but it was really blown out of proportion. If I hadn't been killed originally I would have just gotten bored and left without sharing the HS.
So, TL:DR, I apologize for this and if you go to Falacrine and find a bunch of murder scents, don't get all mad and kill the members of the village. It was really just a bunch of useless alts.
