I don't actually want to know where I am, I just want the general direction of which Constantinople is in. I've made a new character and I just wanted some sort of bearing. Could I get someone's Hearth Secret from Constantinople to Kin up and then see which direction 'nople is in?

Well if you are lucky to get someone to tell you their HS from that city, and your still quite a young character, ask if you can remake next to their fire then EVAC their Claim ASAP, like only when they are on...

That or make a new character there anyway and put his HF outside the City and open another Window of the game running him on AFK and compass him, remaking the party every 4 or so minutes cause the arrows reset to the best APPROX direction the Hearthling is, MEANING that if they are North west of you but not close, it will place and X representing them (Where they are not) at the best angle that the Game could place it... If you under stand that, make it a little clearer please, I just finished work and am not thinking 100%...

I've got no idea. There's no noticeable civilization in the supergrid I've spawned in.

I understand that the party arrows aren't the smartest of tools, but clicking on the miniature profile pictures of your party members below the 'Leave Party' button on the HUD will make your character walk in the exact direction of the owner of the profile picture you clicked, almost defeating the point of those haywire arrows.

I was just saying that because this game generally makes you pretty paranoid.

Anyway, i just made a character to see what the starting towns were (If there were any at all) and i saw:
Soviet Russia ( i loled), you could spawn there, get away from there very fast, and make a new hearth fire ( if you're up for making a new toon)

Can't I just get in contact with someone from 'nople? I've traded with Ilmarinen in the past, he might happen to remember me amongst many of Sodom's numerous contacts of trade, but I doubt he'll add me from me just asking or something. I just need a direction! D:

Why do you need somebody from nople? There's plenty of people who can jump up there and might be willing to give you their HS so you can party. Long as they are there, it works.
