2. Screenshots are taken during a conversation that takes place after.
3. This wonderful topic shows up, in which Broghk says "'you make this sound like that lake had no idea what was going on when he showed up at the marketplace. but yet we talked later that night"
4. The screenshot of which shows DoG saying Lake knew what was going to happen.
Ninja Edit: Not to accuse DoG/Lake of trying to stir the pot (Lake by showing up, Dog by wanting to know what happens) as there is no way he could've known exactly what was going to happen.)

The way I understand it (from being outside originally reading your "omg I died thread" and now from knowing the people involved), you seem to be/probably have been quite a ... drama person, in general.

I respect DoG as a person, he's always been friendly and patient while trading. I understand him wanting to know what happened/why it happened (especially when it involves someone from his village warping to our market area and being attacked). What I don't understand, is why someone would come over to our village to "scare" someone based on what someone says?

After talking to Broghk for like 3 hours a night on vent for the passed week, I find it hard to believe he "constantly initiated combat and punched person(s)". He has a short fuse when it comes to certain things yes, but he seems to be more bark then bite (no offense Broghk ).

While my interaction with Lake has been limited to a very quick convo before he had to go and a quick trade yesterday (which he was willing to come to the RG Marketplace, but I said I could go to Nople to make it easier as he had a couple others waiting as well). He seemed more then reasonable.

Rothgard has a very stern stance on no criminal actions and etc (unless of course, being attacked/stolen from first and still limited to, recovery of stolen goods and "eye for an eye"). Yet Thiss, by his own posting on the village forums, left (at least one that he made public knowledge) runestones demanding someone PM'd an alt forum acc with what type of mine they had, or you would "take" it from them. How exactly would you do that without breaking the "non-aggression" stance of Rothgard, a village you are a resident of.

In the end, I don't want to take sides as I wasn't around when it happened, but Thiss' story really lacks. And while residents of Rothgard who were involved don't want to talk about it, it should just be left as done is done.

The general idea of this event with current RG citizens, is some things happened that we wish didn't (Broghk and Lake being in combat with each other being a large one).

We wish to move on passed this event and hopefully bridge things with DoG and Lake (assuming they are willing), however it keeps being dragged up.

You should probably read the whole post. He wants to know what happened, many of us want to know exactly what happened. All you get when you ask anyone involved is "It was a long time coming" or "He was a liar, he acted like this around that guy and like that around this guy", or "He hired someone to kill Broghk, an assassin". All of these are bullshit excuses and lies, while what's done is done, the truth is good. Knowing who did this leaves me to know who to not bother with anymore, was it Broghk behind this? Maybe another Rothgardian? King V? I've heard reasons why it could be all of them.

Yes it could have been that Thijjsnl is just a retard, but that's not reason enough for me to see doing this, I've yet to get a 'direct answer'.

Yes I've heard this 'attack' back only from you and Lake, that you took forever, got nowhere and didn't deplete any of his defense that he didn't recover with maneuvers automatically, he stung you once, and then you finally disengaged shortly after.

I'm not that good friends with him, I am however with Lake, I also find it funny how you told everyone he tried to assassinate you (and don't say you didn't, because when I messaged the few people in Rothgard I had kinned that were online at the time, they all said they wanted to kill Kazur because he tried to assassinate you, which they heard, from you)

They said they wouldn't pursue him yet King V told me personally that he "made sure Kazur would die", whether his hand was forced, enough of his villagers didn't think Kazur leaving was 'enough' and he had to die is another thing that could have forced it. Period however, if this is how they felt about a villager they should have kicked him out, not killed him or harbored him long enough to let this hate build up. If you hate someone you don't keep them around, that's plain stupid.

From what I spoke of with Lake he has and never had any negative feelings towards Broghk on the matter, he fully knew what was going to happen, he was helping a friend who was being bullied by Broghk, Broghk's supposed motive for constantly assaulting Kazur being that 'Kazur terrorized new villagers', of which I've still yet to hear proof, whereas I have heard proof that Broghk did indeed assault Kazur many times.

A)Give us a list of all your current citizens so I can make sure to keep them out of any future village I ever make

B)Give an actual reason for what happened, and a list of what happened inbetween.


No, I'm not going to go and try and raid Rothgard or anything, I'm far too lazy and something like this happening doesn't matter 'that' much to me, but I don't like being lied to, deceived, and I don't like liars or deceivers. Perhaps I shouldn't say to much more on the matter as I joined after Kaz left, but before his death.

But I really don't/didn't see any malice in any of the villagers. But I've not seen Broghk attack or assault anyone and have rather enjoyed his company, he's rather jovial. Nor did I hear word or tell of him saying someone was sent to assassinate him other then here on the forums.

If there was some secret plot to murder Kazur, it was never known to the public populace of Rothgard. Though I agree, perhaps kicking him sooner may have been a better solution.

While I've not heard much of Kazur other then this incident (even while living within Rothgard for the short time I have), I still stand by, if you're willing to leave a summonable scent behind, you need to be ready to deal with/live with the results of that. I mean, look at how many random scents have been picked up and killed for (even in the middle of nowhere, someone was killed for trying to break his alts HF) why leave scents in a populated area?

If someone finds a summonable scent of mine, I am half expecting to log in and my character to be dead. (So I hope I haven't left any!)
