I loved world 1 and 2, the map was smaller
and it actually encouraged violence, world
one i really only got to watch and dream of
being a part of it, world 2 i finally got to
get into it and absolutely loved all the raids
i got to be in considering they were on people
who were online mostly and they would
sometimes fight back but the difference in
people's power back then wasn't too great.

World 1 was deffinitely pretty awesome.

World 3, sadly lacks violence among the larger
factions, most drama is kept local and everyone
randomly tracks every scent they see.

world 2 with the old combay system was the best.
would have voted for world 1, but i started to late and i played only 1 month on it and the server was sometimes very laggy with many crashes.

Hmm, it was not really a serious suggestion.
Also, the old combat system was plain stupid - do you even remember how it worked? I sure don't!

@gauteamus: I certainly prefer a fast and stupid combat system over one where I have to stand around and wait for 5 minutes before anything happens.

Are you talking about PvP or PvE primarily here?
I am not at all saying the current combat system is neither fun nor "brainy", but if you do not have 5 minutes to spare when the matter on the scales is 4 months of a person grinding, I feel you should do like me and go back to making beet art (I should add I hardly hunt, and as good as never engage in PvP).
In a permadeath game, combat should not be fast and stupid.

But yeah, the source of fun in world 2 came from its politics, and combat does not have to be intricate to allow game of thrones Diplomacy.
I do obviously not have a fast and stupid answer to how to bring back Dipomacy through mechanics.
It is part of what made world 1 so fun - so few actual mechanics to abide by, and so little world space to do it in :-)

Statement: I think the current combat system is better than the old one, but I do not have valid arguments to confirm my position.

Considering the population of World 3 vastly surpasses that of World 2...it's doing good.

Also considering the fact that many world 2-ers have stopped playing already.
