if there are no village claim, and most important crossroars around, no one will come out.
I hate you! Yes, you!
How does it matter when you die? Today? In hundred years? What will be left of you after millenia?

most people here would in fact say "i hope u die", but truth is this could end up being a big payoff for you. i would recommend before you go building or claiming anything though to check the cave thoroughly for multiple exits

Just make sure you leave no scents, triple check for CRs, make sure there are no other exits. Like bitza said, this could be a good score, if it's unclaimed (private) they can't have XMPP to know you were there, if there's no village as well then there are no scents or possibilities of fast travel.

Because people who wear steel plates use militia swords.

Sounds like the mine near Sandbrook. If so, just a copper mine. Two other entrances further south near an abandoned town called Trumpton. 1 just south with personal claim over and another to the east on the lake which is the most active entrance.
