You know how hard it is to get stuff like that? People take measures like this because they can't replace it or it's just people seeking justice on someone for stealing. I mean I was about to kill someone for taking my sling but that's why i have Noawhut . I mean like, LC makes good slings. Especially Aso I heard so I could always get another good one. But, getting robbed? Especially if you don't have the materials to replace it like iron or definently steel. If you was him, or a noob, you would go nuts. Don't act like you wouldn't because we all went there.

To be honest the problem I have is that after I spend 3 hours tracking some fucker I can't stand to leave with anything short of the satisfaction of his death.

Only if the time wasted was through things that you stole. If you are tracking for someone else that is not allied to you or of the damage to your property, then it is time that is not stolen but voluntarily used.

However for some it is not the LP or the time wasted but the principle of punishing those that steal. It may be debatable if such a thing is worth killing someone and many will argue that someone that is willing to steal will not have qualms to do so again. It is very easy to take this from a black and white point view due to the simplicity and less of need to understand but sometimes there is more to the story and many ranger seems to miss this. I am not condemning anyone for their action here but just wanted to put that on the table. No disrespect intended.

I agree. I was murdered by a ranger for following my duties as chieftain of a Village. Granted that ranger is paying me an "Honor Price" however I would much prefer all my stats back... So killing this guy over a shovel, what has this game come too? In my opinion your almost as bad as the thief.

Killing someone does not prevent them from stealing again; killing prevents them from stealing again with that same character. Furthermore, because they've lost their stats, it is more likely that they'll steal again for the items they need to recover their lost LP, or simply out of rage.

Though it seems like if you're getting only
100k LP in 2 hours.. you're doing it wrong.
Oh, and hunt while you're ranging, you might
take a few hours to get a kill that's only 70k
but i've gotten 300k LP before even arriving
at a theif's hideout

us noobs without grand farms and grand allies and mines,
are gratefull for people who take revenge on behalve of the little people on the game.
Thanks to the rangers of the game, also, who knows what else those people stole, killed etc

I suppose was irked me the most was that they both have trespassing+theft+vandalism before they had a round post fence set up, let alone a palisade. As you can see in the second picture, that is one of them steal(vandalizing) crops from a seemingly active player.
