The main reason is because the OP/leader seems to be already gloating around with his ego out when he (as far as we know) has accomplished none of it. Secondly, enforced or artificial regulations rarely go down well, announcing a whole host of them right off the bat is even worse. Rules and laws should be made in response to what people already living in a place desire for, otherwise they're just going to be ignored if you don't have people to intimidate them to following it.
Most cities are formed organically. The ones that aren't, usually already have a whole lot of man power and resources to get them running.

Thank you for you feedback.

To defend my standpoint, I have not accomplish any of this as I have mentioned it before in a subtle way, I do not have all the resources yet, again this is an IDEA only, I am no where near making this happen, but I wanted to know if it was ready to go up an running, you all's feedback.

Second, The website that will be created for this will also have a forum, where the villagers, and myself can create those laws and regulations. As cliche as this sounds, its the peoples village, I just have the infrastructure started, its with these villagers ideas that we can create a prosperous village. I will also be busting my ass to make this work, and I hope I can get people that I can trust that can help me in my responsibilities. Especially people of different time zones.

awesome thanks! I will definitely let you all know when its ready to go up and give it a shot!

To be completely honest I also have a shred of doubt in its success, I think the Idea is too big for the size of the community that we have now.

prosperous?

in your town people work for pay, in mine people work for eachother, to have something together and be proud of it. to work and if needed, die for eachother. no offense but i think a "all work all share" kind of group would be more prosperous and more effective cause personal gain isnt the motivation but rather shared gain.

unless the only thing you care about is personal wealth, in which case neither way is gonna lead to prosperity.

pros·per·ous
   /ˈprɒspərəs/ Show Spelled[pros-per-uhs] Show IPA
–adjective
1.
having or characterized by financial success or good fortune; flourishing; successful: a prosperous business.
2.
well-to-do or well-off: a prosperous family.
3.
favorable or propitious.

People will work for pay, this is just to establish a currency flow in the village, But what happens when a farmer farms the wheat seeds and creates flour, then the cook, creates bread, then the farmer buys the bread to eat it. Did the Farmer help the cook? or did the cook help the farmer? To answer this question, they both helped each other with their tasks. Creating a revolving action that will allow them to help each other, I am providing the currency for the farmer to buy the cooks products. I have no need for wealth, this game is not about wealth it is about surviving and this is the main point in my infrastructure by producing individuals who by doing their tasks help each other survive and providing the security for it.

We will all have our tasks, and we will all share our task. We will all have our rewards, and we will all share our rewards.

Thank you for your feedback though, I completely understand your viewpoint but I believe you didn't really grasp the foundation of this Idea.

What will stop them from forming a black market? IE. trading goods for goods, or signing personal contracts with each other and share resources without limit?

Then the Key point of the establishment has been successful, to survive.

Like I mentioned before, I have no need of wealth, or any of villagers do for that matter, that is simply to begin a currency circulation to attempt on creating an economy. I cannot control another persons character, they are free to build these things as they wish. The Coin is not valuable elsewhere only in the village. (at least to my knowledge considering coin references in forums)

But I for one would think it be a great thing for a black market to form, hell Ill even include that in the Features provided if that was to happen.

Again, this will not be a communism, totalitarianism, or dictatorship. I will not command anything, I am only the founder that will also have tasks and responsibilities like anyone else.

So basically your aim for all this is to establish a monetary economy that would encourage a black market, i.e people trading goods amongst themselves, which is what they'd do anyway without the monetary system?

Maybe you should just try running a village where you trade goods/services amongst yourselves before you try all this.
